Where It All Began
Samantha and Justin met on hinge (a dating app), they both had jeep wranglers which immediately gave them something in command for Justin to message Samantha about and strike up a real conversation. Samantha knew he was someone she wanted to keep talking with right away, in Samantha’s words “he was the only one who didn’t cat call me, in my messages” They put their jeeps to work for two years of driving an hour to see each other until they took the next step in their relationship.
” We choose Wisteria Cottage and Barn for our beautiful wedding because it is 20 minutes from home, the decor inventory along with the variety we could not find anywhere else. We live on an 1800’s property and Justin and I live in the 900 sq ft cottage on the property, that reminds us of the bridal cottage, and our home”
The Proposal
Justin proposed in their house
Samantha was on her way home, from another long day at work, when Justin called her and said he hurt himself. While she was rushing home, she was thinking they were going to be spending the evening in the ER, as she entered their home, he had “Will you marry me” on the mantel.
Advise for future couples:
“Do everything early so you can relax!”
” Make the day for you & your spouse NO ONE ELSE!”
“Moment most looking forward to on my wedding day is our first look and vow reading.’ -Samantha
The Wedding Details
This Maryland, Carroll County barn wedding was beautiful and full of personality. The ceremony musicians rendered a ceremony to remember, the Two River Chamber Music Michael Polonchakthey created the vibe for what to expect for the rest of the wedding. Samantha had her hair and makeup done by Rae Lewis which looked amazing throughout the entire evening. Delicious dinner was served by Libs Grill, and the sweets were made by non-other than the mother of the bride. DJ Paul T kept everyone dancing with music, provided both entertainment and keepsake pictures with their photo booth. Their special day and all of these images were captured by the talented Liza Kirk Photography, along with Windsor Films Mitchell Osterhouse to get all the fun and amazing video as well. Stephaine Day was Samantha and Justin’s go to for wedding coordination and planning the honeymoon to follow.
Oh, and let’s not forget the venue and some of the deco, was Wisteria Cottage and Barn.
